We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our team.
As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any ocular abnormalities - Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye syndrome - Prescribe and fit contact lenses, eyeglasses, and other vision aids - Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care - Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (Epic) - Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional guidelines, including HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school - Valid state license to practice optometry - Strong knowledge of ophthalmology principles and practices - Proficiency in medical coding and terminology related to optometry - Excellent clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions - Experience using electronic medical record systems (Epic) preferred - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and communicate with patients - Strong sales skills to recommend appropriate eyewear options to patients We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
