Overview:
The Portfolio Development Project Manager will serve as a member on Product team. The Development Project Manager is expected to actively contribute and challenge the team on the delivery software based projects. The Portfolio Development Project Manager partners with the Portfolio Product Director, Architecture, and Portfolio Service Managers to anticipate, identify, manage and communicate project risks, status, etc. The role is an individual contributor and reports to the Portfolio Program Management Office.
Responsibilities:
Supports Portfolio Launch Management to ensure projects are delievered and linked in accordance with Portfolio Launch framework and Product Launch schedules. Day to day project direction provided by Portfolio Launch Management. Delivery of high quality project management support. Provide strong leadership to multi-functional product development teams by planning, scheduling, tracking, coordinating, and monitoring product development. Demonstrate proven capability to effectively manage project teams through the successful completion of the project. Work with core project team to resolve technical, logistical, resource and team interaction problems. Proactively assign work and provide guidance to project team, review work in progress in a timely manner and assess completed work for accuracy, required results and qualityDevelop, maintain and manage development release activities as defined by Agile. Familiarties with Agile tracking tools is a plus. Development of accurate milestones based work plans.ycle Management cadence. Communicate project/program status to management and key project stakeholders as required. Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement. Take accountability for all project management aspects and works effectively and closely with all teams. Accurately track resource assignments and deliverable completions in each project plan and document if each deliverable meets/fails expectations. Accurate reporting of progress, issues, and risks, via PMO standards. Management of project resources to ensure deliverables on time. Compliance with all Portfolio operational cadences such as but not limited to: Resource Management Capital Planning/Investment & request support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5- 7 years yrs. of project management experience in software development projects. The candidate should have the following:
Excellent organizational skills and a proven customer service orientation. Detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of competency PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred but not required Working Knowledge of Agile is requiredTechnical expertise in end-user computing is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
